Abu Dhabi: Day 4
This day was dedicated to my parents. I was going to obey them after the freedom they gave me! So, today I had to travel and roam as they want me to do. Off course they want to see Abu Dhabi and explore this city and off course, they had to choose the cruise again.(i went for a cruise the previous day, if not read my day 3, read it here) See this is what happens when you do not plan your trip beforehand. But anyways, I had no complaints. The ship was bigger and I had expectations of some new experiences too. The place was the same; but the time and people were different. I knew that even if I repeat the places, I will find something new about it anyways.

The cruise was bigger than the previous day, but certainly not as big as I had expected. But anyways, I hopped in with mom and dad who were fascinated about the whole thing. The cruise was named ‘catamarian’ cruise. It could accommodate some 70 people in it. The simple white cruise started its journey in the waters and a loud sound. The best thing about this cruise was that it had no Arabic songs but some really good, well known songs of artists.

I did not want to have this monotonous experience of setting on the chair and watching the waters change and dance so, I was mostly out on the deck alone by myself with a drink to company me. I had an obsession with sunny days there unlike here in Ahmadabad. I spent a good time enjoying the cool wind and the warm sun, observing the city and hearing people talk about their experiences. I had a good lone time.

the cruise.
And then the cruise came to a hault. It stopped for us to dive in the sea and swim till the beach and have a gala time there. But no nothing like that happened with me, I did not dive. Sadly, I cannot swim so I waited for a yacht to come and drop us at the shore. It was a beautiful beach; the water was really good to the skin.

the beach..
I had no idea we were going to play in the water; my clothes were super wet from the sea waters. But I did not mind it. We a small group of Indian’s had a great time there, splashing water, shouting and teasing each other. I and dad got a ride on the water bike. We literally saved ourselves from falling in the water. But ohh! What fun it was.

I was glad that I came to the cruise for the second time. After the water fun and the great discomfort cause because of the wet clothes and the sea water we came back to our original stop again after an hour. We were really hungry, both for shopping and food. I wanted to have a real good heavy lunch at a good place. We went to the marina mall again and found a place called ‘turmeric’. It had Indian food better than India! I had new dishes of India over there! I felt I am having something so good after ages. We spent a long time satisfying our hunger and doing justice to the amazing food.

that was our cruise!
Mom is a big shopaholic! And she has given her genes to me. We entered the shops! After a good 1 hour shopping we went back to our hotels to relax and chill. The day was luxurious and quality for us. The number of things done in a day does not matter, but how much you experienced that place or that event is what matters and we, experienced great things that day; From the sun to the chilling waters, from silence of the sea to the busy life of the city, from the Indian food to the shopping fun, From travelling together to enjoying time alone. I had a quality time. And that is what matters.

Keep experiencing.
