Infinity
What is infinity?
Here, I won’t discuss the mathematical term but the expression of life. When people learn that they have cancer, and will die soon, the people around them start staying with them, make them laugh a little more, and love them so that when they leave, they don’t have anything to feel sorry about.
But isn’t it true that all of us are going to die someday? All of us have this definite time limit to live? The only difference is that cancer patients know about their end but we do not. Then, shouldn’t we enjoy every moment as it comes? Aren’t we living a Russian roulette of life?
Life should have more to it than working from cradle to the grave. We are not going to live forever. We are just going to live an ‘infinity’ in numbered days. Ironic, isn’t it? But it’s just another truth of life.
Happiness is the sheer reason of living. One day that passes with happiness is a day well lived; one day passed without happiness is a day completely wasted. Happiness won’t come unless you learn to let go, because you cannot have the next breathe until you let go the existing one.
We need to enjoy this whole wild world out there before it’s too late, and regrets are the worst that one can experience. Dance, till you have the energy to do so; laugh, till you have the teeth to show; love, till you have the heart and courage for it; and live, till your heart keeps beating.
All you need to do is to step out in the world, feel the emotions, make the best out of the day and cherish these memories as you sit on your rocking chair, and reflect on your life. Live these finite days with infinite moments. Make your life bright, but wise.
