Langkawi-A dream!
My journey started with a beautiful flight to kuala lampur, what i saw and felt will remain close to me forever.

After the amazing flight i reached langkawi. It is a cluster of 99 islands (lang- eagle; kawi- limestone) a place with very interesting myths and tales, i being a person who loves to know the history and culture of that place loved the story of langkawi a lot! Mahsuri, a young women was accused of adultery by the people here. She pleaded for her innocence but no one believed. The punishment for adultery in Islam was death by stabbing, but when it was performed on her, white blood flowed proving her innocence. During her last breath, she cursed the land with 7 generations of bad luck. Till 2000 there was famine, failed crops here. After 2000 langkawi flourished as a tourist place, ending the prophecy.

So now was the time of the cable car and the sky bridge which is the major attraction of langkawi. This cable car is the steepest cable cars of the world between the rain forests and the beautiful valley among the sea. As the cable car goes up the rope the excitement or, rather the calmness in you increases! You feel so contended and so full of gratitude for the amazing play of nature. After reaching the height and appreciating the beauty, we went to the sky bridge, again in the cable cars.

There were just clouds around me during the second cable car. Consider me lucky or unlucky with that but there was just rope seen from my car, nothing else. The experience of the clouds from the plane was still fresh in my mind and this just revived it more! The guide advised us to not go to the bridge as it was way too cloudy to see anything, but why miss any experience? There might be something new to learn and see. With this thought i went to the bridge, which turned out to be one of the best decisions i had taken.

It was 7:30 in the evening, the time when the sun sets. The clouds cleared out in some time and i felt beautiful, from within. The bridge was a reminder that i am into reality, that no this is not an illusion like those scenes from the plane. The imagination very much exists and i could reach it. The beautiful sea with the green forests and the sunset made me want to stay here forever, if ever it was possible. The clouds came again in some times and i was literally walking in the clouds with a faint coolness in the atmosphere and serenity. The rawness of the clouds that i saw, was felt here. My world of imagination, the dream of walking on those clouds did come true.
