This diwali…

I am not a person whom you ask about why a festival is celebrated. Simply because I do not get the basic idea of the same. Nevertheless I do celebrate every festival, not only Hindu, but all the possible ones. So, Diwali or Deepawali is here folks! Probably the most widely celebrated festival in India and the most important too. But then, this is 21st century and nothing here comes for free. Along with the sweets and crackers and gifts you get, there is pollution and mishaps and wastage of resources as well! We associalte diwali only with lights! But what about the darkness that creeps into lives of thousands? Those children in the cracker factories, those people burnt by crackers, those poor people hoping for a light in there lives seeing it around them! What about such darkness, where hope is still enlighted?
